Nose job in Turkey, explained
Refine appearance. Support function. Keep your identity.
Rhinoplasty — a nose job — reshapes the nose so it sits in proportion with the rest of the face. When the assessment finds a structural problem, a deviated septum or a collapsed valve, that work is planned into the same operation, so breathing improves alongside the shape.
There is no single “ideal” nose. Your consultation brings together what you want to change, your facial proportions, your skin thickness, your cartilage and your airway anatomy — and builds a plan that belongs to you rather than to a trend.

Why Turkey
The world’s second-largest country for rhinoplasty
56,650 nose surgeries were performed in Türkiye in 2022 — volume that has built a deep bench of specialist surgeons and brought the all-inclusive cost far below UK and US pricing.
Dr. Emre Gönenç Baygöl completed his medical education at Uludağ University and his training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Bezm-i Âlem Vakıf University. His background also includes research training at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
You meet your surgeon in person before the operation. The examination covers your skin, cartilage and airway alongside the change you want — and the plan you agree on is the plan that is performed.
Your surgeon picks the approach that gives the access, control and structural support your case actually needs — after examining you, not before.
Technique 01
Open rhinoplasty
Maximum visibility and full access to the underlying tissue.
An incision is made between the nostrils, across the columella, so the skin can be lifted and the nasal framework seen directly. That gives greater plastic flexibility and more accurate results, which is why it is the approach of choice for complex reshaping and revision work.
Strengths
Full access to the nasal framework
Greater plastic flexibility, more accurate results
Minimal scarring and swelling, with a shorter recovery.
There is no external incision at all — every manipulation is performed by reaching the underlying tissue through the nostrils. Swelling settles faster and recovery is shorter, but the surgeon works with less direct visibility, so it suits selected, well-defined cases.
Planned around your own features, not a single Western template.
A separate procedure type, not a variation on the other two. Anatomy differs by heritage — skin thickness, cartilage strength, the width of the bridge and base — so the operation is planned around your anatomy rather than a standard reduction — usually adding structural support to define the tip instead of simply reducing the nose.
A second operation to correct the result of a first one.
Revision — or secondary — rhinoplasty is for people who are unhappy with an earlier nose surgery, or whose breathing was left worse by it. It is the most demanding type: scar tissue has replaced normal planes, cartilage may already have been removed, and support often has to be rebuilt with grafts before any reshaping can begin.
Strengths
Corrects shape and breathing together
Rebuilds support that was lost
Usually done open, for full access
Trade-offs
Scar tissue makes it technically harder
Normally at least 12 months after the first surgery
Septorhinoplasty is the name for one operation that does two jobs: septoplasty, which straightens the septum — the wall of cartilage and bone dividing your nostrils — and rhinoplasty, which reshapes the outside of the nose. If the assessment finds a deviated septum or a collapsed nasal valve, that functional correction is planned into the same operation as the aesthetic reshaping, whichever approach your surgeon chooses. You are anaesthetised once, you recover once, and the new shape sits on a structurally sound nose that you can breathe through.
The operation takes 2–3 hours under general anaesthesia. You stay 1–2 nights in the private hospital with your own nurse, sleeping with your head elevated.
2
Day 3
Contact lenses again
Early swelling and bruising begin to settle. Contact lenses can be worn from the third day; glasses stay off for two months.
3
Day 7
Final check, then home
Nurses check on you at the hotel through the week and your surgeon reviews healing before you travel — including removing the nasal splint if one was fitted. No driving in this first week.
4
Week 2
Back to normal life
Most visible bruising has gone. Still no nose-blowing until the two-week mark, and sneeze with your mouth open.
5
Month 1–3
Exercise returns
Sport resumes after the first month and high-intensity training after three. Heat, saunas and sun exposure are avoided for the first month; glasses from two months.
6
Month 12
The final result
Initial results show within a few weeks; the full result appears once swelling has subsided, usually within a year. The change to the nose structure is permanent, and your follow-up runs across this whole year.
Aftercare rules that matter most
Avoid sports for at least 1 month; no high-intensity training for 3 months
Do not blow your nose for 2 weeks after surgery
If you have to sneeze, do it with your mouth open
No glasses of any kind for 2 months — contact lenses from the 3rd day
Avoid heat, saunas, hot showers and sun for 1 month; SPF 50 for 2 months
Do not drive during the first week after surgery
Follow a nutritious diet and drink plenty of water
Why Natural Clinic
Six reasons patients fly to us for their nose.
01
Chosen surgeon, not an assigned one
You are matched with a specialist plastic surgeon for your anatomy and goals — and you meet them before surgery, not on the table.
02
Natural, not template
There is no single ideal nose. The plan is drawn around your facial proportions, your skin and cartilage, and what you actually asked for.
03
One fixed price, written down
Your quote covers surgery, hospital, hotel, transfers and follow-up. No line items appear once you have landed.
04
Breathing counted as a result
The airway is assessed at consultation. If the septum or valve is the reason you are here, that is fixed in the same operation.
05
One week, fully organised
Arrival, tests, surgery, recovery and the splint-removal check all fit inside a single seven-day trip.
06
A year of aftercare
Rhinoplasty settles over 12 months, so the follow-up runs for 12 months — with the same coordinator you started with.

Rhinoplasty Packages in Turkey
Most Turkish clinics offer all-inclusive travel packages, so there are no hidden costs. But rhinoplasty shouldn't be done on a budget — it is a serious procedure that will affect your life for years. Choose the level of care you want, and the price you are quoted is the price you pay.
Free-Rider
Package
Surgery and medical care only — you arrange your own travel and stay.
Rhinoplasty in Istanbul from £2,600 — Fixed Package Pricing
All-inclusive: surgery, 6 nights hotel and all transport.
Simple rhinoplasty
£2,600
Ethnic / costal graft
£3,450
Ethnic rhinoplasty and cases needing a costal (rib) cartilage graft take longer in theatre and require grafting — that is the difference. Your exact quote is confirmed in writing before you book a flight, and nothing is added once you land.
The clinic asks for a minimum of 7 days in Turkey. That covers your arrival and consultation, pre-operative tests, the surgery itself, 1–2 nights in hospital and early recovery at your hotel. Staying longer means more aftercare, so stay as long as you can.
How long does the operation take?
Commonly 2–3 hours under general anaesthesia. The exact time depends on your anatomy, how much reshaping is planned and whether functional work on the septum is included.
Open or closed rhinoplasty — which will I have?
Your surgeon decides after examining your nose. Open rhinoplasty gives full access to the framework and suits complex or revision cases; closed rhinoplasty leaves no external scar and heals faster but offers less visibility. Both are performed at Natural Clinic.
Is rhinoplasty painful?
Rhinoplasty is performed under general anaesthesia, which minimises discomfort. Pain after the procedure is typically well managed with the medication your team prescribes.
When will I see my final result?
Initial results may be seen within a few weeks. The full result appears once the swelling has subsided, usually within a year. The changes made to the nose structure are permanent.
How much does a nose job in Turkey cost?
An all-inclusive nose job at Natural Clinic runs from £2,600 to £3,900. A simple rhinoplasty starts at £2,600; ethnic rhinoplasty or a case needing a costal (rib) cartilage graft starts at £3,450, because both take longer in theatre and require grafting. Every figure covers the surgery, 6 nights of hotel and all transport, and it is fixed in writing before you travel.
When can I exercise, wear glasses or blow my nose again?
No sports for at least one month and no high-intensity training for three. Do not blow your nose for two weeks, and sneeze with your mouth open. No glasses of any kind for two months — contact lenses are fine from the third day. Avoid heat, saunas and sun for a month, and do not drive in the first week.
When am I discharged from hospital?
Patients are usually discharged after 1–2 nights in hospital, then continue recovering at the 5-star hotel next to the clinic with nurse visits.
Is there a best season for nose surgery?
It is best to avoid high summer, because sun exposure can leave marks on the surgical area. With proper protection and sun avoidance, summer is still a correct season.
How long do the results last?
Rhinoplasty offers permanent results — the changes made to the nose structure are lasting.
Are there risks or side effects?
Rhinoplasty is considered safe, but like any surgical intervention it carries potential risks and side effects. These are discussed with you in detail during your consultation.
Do you perform ethnic rhinoplasty?
Yes. Ethnic rhinoplasty means planning the operation around the anatomy of your own facial heritage rather than a single Western ideal — accounting for skin thickness, cartilage strength and the width of the bridge and base. In practice this often means adding structural support to define the tip instead of reducing it, so the nose is refined without erasing the features that make the face yours.
Will my nose still look like mine after ethnic rhinoplasty?
That is the point of it. You tell your surgeon at the consultation which features you want kept, and the surgical plan is built around them. The aim is a nose in better proportion with your face — not a different face.
Can rhinoplasty fix my breathing as well?
Yes. If the assessment finds a deviated septum or a collapsed nasal valve, the functional correction is performed in the same operation as the aesthetic reshaping, so you only recover once.
What is septorhinoplasty, and do I need it?
Septorhinoplasty is a single operation combining septoplasty — straightening the septum, the cartilage and bone wall between your nostrils — with rhinoplasty, which reshapes the outside of the nose. You need the septal part only if your septum is actually deviated; that is decided at your examination, not in advance. If it is, doing both together means one anaesthetic, one recovery and one cost, rather than a second operation later.
Your rhinoplasty plan starts with a conversation, not a deposit.
Send your photos and what you would like to change. Our surgical team reviews your case and your coordinator comes back with a written plan and a fixed, all-inclusive quote.
